Legislation
  • ACDA will be an advocate for and assist the industry on local, state, and federal issues regarding craft distilling. 
Distribution & Retail
  • Wholesaler and Retailer support: A critical function will be to facilitate distiller liaisons with key associations, major wholesalers and retailers and smaller regional distributors.  


Marketing
  • Trade Shows & Industry Event:  ADCA will actively promote and support craft representation at national and major regional events.  Ongoing partnerships will result in providing valuable platforms for brand promotion.
  • Media Relations:  Reliable and timely press releases of pertinent news will be posted on the website as well as communicated to the media list.
  • Website Presence: Members will have the option to be listed on the website with logo and link to their distillery website.


Industry Reporting
  • “Members Only” Industry Reports: ACDA will periodically collect and disseminate reliable information on industry growth, category production volumes, and other important data regarding craft distilling.
  • Membership Directory: An annual compendium of distilleries  and supplier members will be published.
  • Distilling Guilds: ACDA will promote the formation of distilling guilds and will support their programs.


Education
  • ACDA Convention: ACDA will conduct an annual convention focused specifically on DSP-centric issues and concerns. This convention will be held in conjunction with a consumer event where wholesalers, retailers, and the general public can sample craft products.
  • Master Classes: Continual educational classes with industry experts and master distillers, designed to take your skills to the next level!
  • Internships: The AIWF-Michael Jackson Education Fund will support craft distilling internships based on recommendations submitted by the Board of ACDA.

Craft Spirits Competition 
  •  ACDA will conduct a rigorously transparent and carefully organized  annual judging of craft spirits. Members will receive discounted entry fees.
